Mr. Crispin is founder and president of Pecantree Capital (Pecantree). Pecantree is a boutique
investment company helping midsize and small businesses obtain capital, primarily through
bank and sub debt.   His most recent engagement was with a custom manufacture, where he also
served as interim CFO/COO. 

Mr. Crispin also is a highly active board member of the White Rock YMCA.   He formerly chaired the White Rock YMCA’s Capital
Campaign (currently it has raised $11 million of the $13.5 million for a new 40,000 sq. ft. facility), its Annual Campaign (which raises
funds to help families participate in programs who otherwise would be able to afford to do so) and recently served on the YMCA’s
Executive Search Committee.  Among his other responsibilities noted above, Mr. Crispin chairs the Youth Development committee,
which directly oversees the Y’s youth sports programming in East Dallas with over 5,000 participants.  

Prior to forming Pecantree, he was one of two founding partners of Texas Security Bank (TSB), a community bank headquartered in
Dallas, Texas.  Mr. Crispin played a key role in raising initial capital of $26 million and obtaining regulatory approval for the start up de
novo bank focusing on commercial lending and business services. While at TSB, Mr. Crispin was a member of the board of directors,
chairing the technology and planning committee and was a member of the credit and ALCO committees.  He was also the Chief
Lending Officer and Executive Vice President, managing the bank’s commercial banking endeavors.  While at TSB, Mr. Crispin oversaw
the rehabilitation of an 8,000 sq. ft. former fire station into the bank’s first branch and headquarters. 

Prior to forming TSB, Mr. Crispin was market president for Bank of Texas, NA.  He was responsible for managing a team of commercial
lenders providing credit and depository services for business customers.   Prior to that, Mr. Crispin was with Wells Fargo Bank as vice
president of commercial banking.


Mr. Crispin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA from the McCombs School of Business.  He is an active youth
sports coach with the YMCA coaching his son’s basketball, flag football and soccer teams.  He enjoys traveling, residential
construction, music and sports.  Mr. Crispin lives in Lakewood with his wife Samantha and three children: Tanner (9), Stella (5) and
Clara (3).
